From an early age, Lana Mari was immersed in the world of design, craftsmanship, and construction. Her father, PJ Dunbar, was one of Ireland’s leading architectural joiners, shaping some of Dublin’s most iconic interiors—like Café en Seine on Dawson Street—and delivering high-end projects across Italy, Spain, Norway, the U.S., and beyond.
At home, PJ would spread his sketches across the kitchen table, explaining his latest ideas, while Lana, wide-eyed with curiosity, soaked it all in. Daily visits to the workshop deepened her appreciation for meticulous craftsmanship, and just next door, her grandmother, Bridie Dunbar, was in a constant state of reinvention—layering wallpaper upon wallpaper with her own hands. Design wasn’t just something Lana observed; it was something she lived.
This passion only grew stronger with time. Coming from a family of artists, architects, and engineers, and later marrying into another lineage of successful builders and tradespeople, Lana’s love for design and property development became unstoppable.
Yet, her approach is more than just creative—it’s deeply strategic. With a degree in Business Studies from Dublin City University, she has built, scaled, and managed businesses across fashion, beauty, fitness, and technology. From product and system design to project management and creative direction, Lana has honed her ability to transform ideas into thriving, profitable ventures.
But design remained her true calling. After stepping away from her previous businesses, she dedicated herself fully to studying interior design at the highest level—learning from top designers across the world. The result? A business that blends creativity with efficiency, making beautiful spaces achievable through structured, process-driven methods.

Today, Lana is on a mission to demystify interior design for homeowners and aspiring professionals alike. Whether through her social media presence—particularly on YouTube—or through hands-on consulting, she helps people bridge the gap between inspiration and reality.
